Since moving to Maine I have been lucky enough to meet some amazing people that I consider myself lucky to have befriended. One of the perks of these friendships is that some of them make great products that I love and use all the time. And one of the biggest perks of these friends is that sometimes they help me throw incredible giveaways that are filled with things that I just want to keep for myself. Since I can’t say all that I want to say on Instagram I thought a post that’s about as long overdue as my previous landlord’s security deposit would be a good idea!

First on the list is two skeins of On the Round’s Everyday Lite in Rachel’s Ring of Fire colorway! This is a single ply merino weight yarn that knits up beautifully. I just finished a Reyna Shawl using her Rainbow Tweed on Everyday Lite. Her yarn is the perfect compliment to an outfit and such a pleasure to wear.

Over the last few months I’ve been lucky enough to befriend Rachel through Instagram and every conversation we have feels like I’ve known her for years. She was also kind enough to donate the illustrated edition of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone to this giveaway! Rachel’s yarns knit up like a dream and I’m working on my second sweater using her yarn and I cannot wait to finish it and wear it all the time. I suppose there are a few perks to befriending a yarn dyer!

Next is a Gryffindor Candle from Midnight Moon Apothecary. I met Renee and Emma at my full time job and we instantly bonded over our love of reading, baking, and general nerdy things. Renee is the nose behind Midnight Moon while Emma designs the labels. Together they could put Yankee Candle out of business if they’d only let them sell candles in bookstores. (That was a books are flammable joke, people.) I love watching the candles that these two put out almost as much as I love smelling them! Renee and Emma were kind enough to give me this Gryffindor candle that smells like the Gryffindor common room or at least what I think it would smell like to an almost eerie degree.

After that, we have a bag of Due East Tea‘s Honeybush. This tea is made right in Rockport, Maine and the owners travel all over the world working with farmers to provide us with high quality teas.

Finally, there’s this adorable Hogwarts is my Home bag AND an Accio Yarn mug. How could you not want those?

Basically, you can sit on your couch, pull your knitting out of your adorable Hogwarts bag, drink some delicious tea while you read the illustrated edition of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, smell the smells of the Gryffindor commonroom (sans teenager smell), and know that you’re living my dream. So now that you’ve heard all about the goodies head on over to my post on Instagram to enter!
